As a long-time Premiere user, the first time I opened Final Cut Pro I wasn’t a fan. The workflow is entirely different so it feels incredibly foreign for even the simplest of tasks.
BUT the promise of reduced render times for short videos (like this one!) was too much to resist, so I pushed on…
Fast forward until now and I’ve figured out workarounds for my regular tips and tricks – and I’m actually starting to enjoy FCPX! For anyone else making the shift or that’s new to Final Cut, here are the 3 things you NEED to know to get up to speed quick and Edit your videos FASTER in Final Cut Pro!
PS: Don’t worry Premiere fans… Premiere is still my solid go-to for all longer form content!
