What is the PVA Team Affiliate Program?
The PVA Team Affiliate Program is designed to help us reward Primal Video Accelerator (PVA) members who share PVA with their friends, colleagues and communities.
How does the Team Affiliate Program work?
Simple! As a PVA Team Affiliate you will earn a recurring 25% commission for every new PVA member you refer. That means, for as long as you are a part of the program, you will earn 25% of all their subscription payments for the life of their subscription!
Who can join the Team Affiliate Program?
The Team Affiliate program is open to current members of PVA with an active subscription. (Not a member yet? Click here to check it out!)
To remain eligible for the Team Affiliate program and continue earning commissions, you must maintain a current PVA membership and keep your account in good standing.
I’m a member of PVA, why do I need to apply to join the Affiliate Program?
While the Affiliate Program is only open to active PVA members, it is not part of the program. Being a member of Accelerator does not guarantee approval as a PVA Team Affiliate.
All PVA members still need to apply and be approved to join the Team Affiliate program and continue to meet ongoing requirements.
What happens if I stop being an active Primal Video Accelerator member?
The Team Affiliate Program is only available to current members of Primal Video Accelerator with an active subscription. That means if you cancel your PVA membership or your PVA subscription/account is no longer in good standing, you will no longer be eligible for the Team Affiliate program will no longer earn any commissions.
How (and when) do I get paid?
You will earn a commission each time a subscription payment is processed for a member you have referred using your affiliate link. This commission is marked as pending for a minimum of 30 days, before becoming eligible for approval and payout.
We use this pending period to account for any refunds or chargebacks. That said, there may be some circumstances where a refund or chargeback occurs outside that period, even after a commission has already been paid out. In cases like this, we will adjust your account for any difference, so it’s reflected on your subsequent payout.
Payouts for approved commissions are made monthly (typically near the beginning of each month) in USD via PayPal, subject to a minimum payout balance of US$50.
How are referrals tracked?
As an affiliate, you’ll be provided unique links to track all of your referrals. Affiliate links are based on last click attribution, meaning the commission will go to the affiliate whose link was clicked most recently before a new member joins PVA.
Our tracking links have a cookie duration of 6 months. This means if you refer a potential member today and they make a tracked purchase within the next 6 months, then you can still be credited with the referral, provided your unique link was the last to be clicked & our tracking cookie hasn’t been removed by the user. If a user blocks or removes our cookie or completes a purchase using a different device, you may not be paid an affiliate commission.
Our tracking system relies on the structure of the links we provide to accurately attribute any sales to your account. It is your responsibility to use the right links. We can only pay commissions on successfully tracked sales!
In some cases, we can give credit to an affiliate even if the customer didn’t sign up through their link by mistake. If you have a case like that, contact us so we can help.
Terms and conditions for the affiliate program
These are the terms and conditions upon which the affiliate program is run.
When we use the words ‘we’ ‘us’ or ‘ours’ we mean Launchfire Group (Australia) Pty Ltd ABN 16 606 932 049 and/or Launchfire Pte Ltd (Singapore) and our associates, employees or assigns.
When we use the words ‘you’ ‘your’ ‘yours’ or ‘affiliate’ we mean you, the affiliate participating in our program and this includes your associates, employees and contractors. If we refer to affiliate website, this means the website (which you warrant you own) where you are placing our affiliate links and includes any other domains, sub-domains or public access areas where you post our affiliate link (you also warrant you have the right to post our affiliate link in these places).
Application process
We have an application process allowing us to review applicants to ensure they are a suitable fit for our affiliate program. In general, only applicants with an active PVA subscription with us are eligible to be part of the affiliate program. If you do not maintain an active, paid PVA subscription, you will lose access to the affiliate program and forfeit any future commissions that may have been payable. We reserve the right at our discretion to allow select partners to be part of the affiliate program even if they do not meet these criteria.
You must complete the on-line application to begin the application process. We will notify you of the outcome of your application.
If we accept you into our affiliate program, we will give you access to our affiliate portal where you will be able to review these affiliate program terms (which we may update), find approved promotional material and creatives to enable the setup of affiliate links. If we update these affiliate program terms and conditions and you do not agree with the changes, you may terminate this agreement. If you continue to participate in the affiliate program after we have given notice of a change, you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to the new terms.
So that we can accurately keep track of affiliate sales, you must use the unique URL or HTML code that we provide. We will not be responsible for any lost commission by you if you incorrectly use or link the URL or HTML code.
Using your log-in you will also be able to view your referral commissions. We make payments monthly via PayPal provided your payment amount is at least US$50. If your payout amount is less than US$50, your balance will accumulate until the following month. You must provide us with your PayPal address for payments to be made.
Payments are made for traffic to our site, introduced by you via your affiliate link, that converts into a sale of a product on our site. While you are an affiliate member, we pay 25% commission on subscription payments introduced by you for the life of the subscription. If a person introduced by you purchases another product of ours, we do not pay commission on that additional product.
We currently use ThriveCart to track sales and affiliate commissions however envisage we will replace this with a WordPress plugin. We are not responsible for any failure of these third parties that results in you missing out on a commission.
No payment will be made for sales that result in refunds or returns.
You will be responsible for all taxes associated with the receipt of any payments from us.
We retain the right to review your participation in the program, have input into how you display the links/our information on your website and to terminate this agreement.
Your Obligations
For your website, you are responsible for maintenance, updates and any changes required by us under this agreement.
If requested by us, you must place the banner/links in a position on your website approved by us. We may ask you to move the placement at any time.
You must ensure your website and any content is compliant with all laws and does not infringe on any third party rights including copyright.
You have on-going obligations in relation to promotion (no spam), use of our name, creating fraudulent traffic and interference with the affiliate tracking. These are discussed in more detail below.
Warranties
You warrant:
- You have the right, power and authority to enter into this agreement.
- You will not, either directly or indirectly, generate clicks or orders in a manner which is coercive, misleading, malicious or fraudulent. No affiliate payments will be made in these circumstances and we will immediately terminate this agreement.
- You will not place or allow inappropriate content on your website including material that is or encourages discrimination of any kind, illegal activities, violence, sexually explicit material, violation of intellectual rights, deceptive information or any material we believe in inappropriate or unlawful.
- You will not represent you have a relationship with us other than as a participant in our affiliate program. Other than the specific emails and banners or other graphics we supply, you may not design your website or correspondence to infer you represent us or in a manner which could lead customers to think you are us.
- You will not partake in conduct or practices that may damage our reputation or business. This includes deceptive, misleading or unethical practices or advertising, spamming, hiding your identity in advertising or emails, using advertising on social media sites where the advertising is not welcome, using marketing emails where a user does not have the option to unsubscribe or any other unacceptable advertising or solicitation.
- You must not present any kind of cash-back scheme, coupon discount or any other kind of discount for purchasing through your affiliate link.
- You must not post your affiliate link on any Coupon websites, and may not use “Click for (or to see) Deal/Coupon” links or any variation thereof, where the click opens a Primal Video Website or sets a cookie.
- When using pay-per-click campaigns, you must direct traffic from the click campaign directly to your own website where the traffic can follow our affiliate link. If you do run a campaign and direct traffic directly to our website, we will consider this to be a trademark violation and breach of these terms and conditions.
- You will not use or transmit any parasitic marketing to traffic arriving at our site via any route. ‘Parasitic marketing’ includes interstitials, parasiteware, shopping assistant applications, toolbar installations or add-ons, shopping wallets, deceptive pop-up or pop-unders, commission tracking cookies or any other application designed to intercept or redirect traffic to arrive at our website via your affiliate coding where that traffic would have otherwise arrived at our website without using your affiliate coding. Unlawful interception or redirecting of traffic in any manner amounts to a fraudulent use of your affiliate coding and no commission or other amounts will be payable to you.
- You must not make purchases yourself using your affiliate link.
You acknowledge we are relying on the above warranties as part of our decision to accept you into our affiliate program.
If you breach any of the above warranties, we may immediately terminate this agreement and any outstanding commissions may be forfeited by you.
Term
This agreement starts when we communicate your acceptance to the affiliate program and provide you with log in and username details for the affiliate members area.
This agreement is for a 12-month term and, unless terminated earlier, will renew at the end of each 1 year term for a further 12 months.
We may terminate this agreement:
- Immediately if we consider you have breached the terms of this agreement or if we discover you have substantially changed your website.
- By giving you 7 days written notice if we have asked you to do something in accordance with this agreement and you have failed to do that thing.
- For any reason, by giving you 45 days written notice.
You may terminate this agreement for any reason by giving us 14 days written notice.
Upon termination of this agreement, you will cease to earn any commission and you must:
- Remove any affiliate link(s) from your website or other platforms.
- Cease using our business name.
- Return to us or securely destroy any of our confidential information or intellectual property.
License
We grant you, during the term, a non-exclusive, non-transferrable, revokable license to use the affiliate link and any promotional resources provided within the affiliate members area for the purposes of and in accordance with the terms of this agreement.
Your participation in our affiliate program does not confer any proprietary or special rights in the licensed materials made available.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
We make no warranty that you will earn any commission under the affiliate program or that the affiliate tracking we use will be reliable or error free.
We take no responsibility for your involvement in the affiliate program, you join and continue in the program at your own risk.
We make no warranty that our website will be available at all times or that it will be error free.
We are not responsible to you or any third party for viruses or malicious code on our website that was not intentionally placed there by us.
You agree our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to this agreement is limited to an amount of $100.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us and our affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents, from and against any and all liability, claims, losses, damages, injuries or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) relating to the operation of your site, a breach of your obligations under this agreement, or the violation of any third-party intellectual property rights in relation to editorial content or other materials of your site.
Confidentiality
All confidential information, including, but not limited to, any business, technical, financial, and customer information, disclosed by one party to the other in relation to or arising from this agreement will remain the sole property of the disclosing party, and each party will keep in confidence and not use or disclose such proprietary information of the other party without the express written permission of the disclosing party.
General
All amounts shown in this agreement or on our website are in USD.
You may not assign this agreement without our consent.
As an affiliate you are an independent contractor and nothing in this agreement creates any other relationship. You do not have authority to bind us to any decisions and may not make any representations on our behalf.
This agreement is governed by the law of Queensland, Australia and any dispute will be determined by the courts of Queensland.
If any provision of this agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or excluded to the extent necessary to enact the intention of the parties and the balance of this agreement will continue in full force and effect.
