Waterproof 360 Action Camera: Xiaomi Mijia 3.5K Review!
I’m a big fan of 360 video. We’ve tested a lot of 360 cameras, but I’ve been looking for something that could easily be used in the water.
Until recently, we really couldn’t find a great all-round waterproof 360 camera that ticked all the boxes and wasn’t way overpriced. Nikon’s Keymission came close, but it’s expensive for what you get, and the output is not fantastic.
So! GearBest offered to send us out a free Xiaomi Mijia 3.5K to try out… I checked out the specs – waterproof without a case…. Done!

Now, after putting it to use – I’ve got to say… I’m impressed! And that’s why we’re doing this video. It’s definitely a solid all-rounder as far as 360 video cameras go, but as you’d expect it does have some drawbacks vs. more expensive action 360 camera options. We’ll cover all of that in this review, as well as my recommendations on who this camera is ideal for – and then the final verdict: is the Xiaomi Mijia 3.5K the BEST underwater 360 camera currently available?
